Tech still irrelevant

An old prospector wanders onto the TTU campus. A student asks him, “what are you looking for?” The prospector says, "Gold and I’ve been looking for it for forty years. The Tech student says, “You’ve come to the right place. We’ve been looking for it longer than that, spent millions looking for it and haven’t found it yet.”

If Tech keeps spending the way they do they will eventually hit something good for them. The problem, IMHO, is they go up fast, then crash fast. They have done it for decades. They will roll along looking like world beaters (in their mind) then the next thing you know they are mediocre all over again. If the rednecks weren’t so obnoxious it would be a little painful to watch.

Oh I didn’t see that crying your talking about

If Tech can somehow find their next Mahomes or Crabtree in the portal or high school, then they will be fine.

As long as they spend money like they have been, they WILL get players.

The things some of you people come up with. Good lord. Have you thought about a career in writing fiction or fantasy novels?

YES… He has a broken fibula. Give him credit for being out there.

And then the Tech fanbase was bashing him on social media…

He’s probably going to need a break from social media like Eman took after the national championship game…

This article quotes him saying he was basically 100% in practice before the game…

Bingo……Joey has NEVER coached on that big of a stage.

Question: Have you ever seen a football player who didn’t consider himself ‘100%’ if he wanted to play bad enough?

Question… did you read the article?

He wasn’t even allowed to practice until early December… this is the healthiest he’s been all season.

He just wasn’t good yesterday… made bad reads and worse throws.

It also didn’t help him that they couldn’t run the ball AT ALL…

Yes I read the article
The date on the article was 12/30/25
He was just getting out of the boot
He was saying he was getting used to playing in the offense again.
What part did I miss?

It says he took the boot off after the CCG…

They were my pick to win it all. I never thought they’d get shutout with the offense they have.

His throwing motion looked “off” from the passes I saw. Is he a sidearm or 3/4 arm passer normally?
