Testing

The question has come up on why don't we test everyone like some other schools. If I understand the test, it will tell if the person is positive or negative at that point in time the test is made. So if we test everyone on Monday and everyone shows negative, that does not mean everyone could be positive on Tuesday. Are the schools testing everyone doing it everyday or every other day.or once a week? Just wondering

My son was tested on Saturday and will not see results until tomorrow., Monday. His roommate was tested Friday and hasn’t gotten results yet either. Not sure if the weekend is the reason. I understand they are testing the entire team regardless of contact with other teammates who are infected.

Let’s be honest - when you open the test barrel that means cost. It has been reported that it’ll take $400k to test everyone twice or three times a week. It’s a way to minimize costs so but now you can’t
