Owned by HLSR, who use it for a parking lot one month out of the year.
Whoever bought that land from Astroworld must have lost their a$$ selling to the Rodeo.
I heard Harris County Pct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones on the radio today… said to look out for an “exciting announcement” about NRG Park in the coming weeks. I was only half listening, but I believe she was hinting that moving the practice facilities to Bridgelands opens up some possibilities at NRG.
Sorry Timmy they allowed the Texans to get away. However that is interesting, peculiar, and dis-believable that something better can happen for the area. An existing pro NFL team was there JS
The fact that HLSR and the Texans have to share the same facilities is the downfall. If HLSR wasn’t there, I’m sure the Texans would be more than happy to invest in NRG.
HLSR and Texans play in each other’s sandboxes, and neither one is happy about the intrusion. At last they don’t have to deal with all the Astroworld traffic anymore.
Let me rephrase to say that if they weren’t sharing facilities with HLSR, the Texans would be more than happy to invest Harris County taxpayer money in NRG.
Of course you never spend your own money on these things…
