He’s not showing the same confidence he had last year, but I think a lot of it comes from a lack of trust in his team so he’s trying too hard to compensate.
He’s missing his top two receivers.
His offensive line has let him get beat up all season until tonight.
Refs gave that one to the Lions on the no-call PI. I think we needed that win for confidence but hopefully we can go on a winning streak the next few weeks with an easier schedule (Cowboys, Titans, Jags and Dolphins) and go to the Chiefs 10-4 with a much healthier and cohesive team.

CJ has been trash this year.
His receivers were dropping passes all night.
Dude missed Tank wide open in the end zone. When the nearest DB was 15 yards away. And still got it intercepted. That would have been game. Stop blaming everyone else for CJ’s regression.

That was one play. He threw passes that went in out of receivers hands all night long, including Tank.
That one play would have been game. And we won’t talk about the other INT he threw that set the Lions up in the redzone. Luckily for CJ, Goff threw 5 INTs. Yet somehow still won. Because CJ has been awful this year.
If they would have caught those passes and extended those drives, maybe those would have been touchdowns. I don’t pin the game on just that play.
They need a new OC bad.
CJ was really good in the first half. He was awful in the second half. He threw that game away with bad passes, holding the ball too long and taking huge sacks. And the OL didn’t run block at all.
Now you know why medicines are so costly.
2ypc on 28 rush attempts is what cost the Texans the game. Could not run out the clock or extend drives.

Predictable outcome, too many good players out. With Fairbairn missing FGs you basically take away their best weapon. God help them if they crap the bed in Dallas. Texans fans can be vile. I’ll never forgive em for turning on Keenum. I want em to win but I’d trade a UH bowl bid for the Texans losing out any day.
It was so fast as they panned the stadium, but I swear, did I see the UH logo in the middle of the field in solid black?? I hope not. Maybe we’ve changed school colors and nobody told me.
Yeah the logo was black… they just hadn’t changed it from the last game - the blackout game vs k-state (which looked great and was a great win)
I think CJ has been the same. More film on him makes it harder for him to do the things he did his first year. It always happens.
I do think that our oline sucks because he gets hit and doesnt have time to throw. I dont think its an OC thing. We’re putting up points.
