I just went on the Texas State website to look at tickets, out of curiosity. Saw this “Please note that the entire stadium will be reserved seating for the September 24th game vs. the University of Houston. All General Admission tickets will have an assigned seating location for that game, but no other games.”
Also their “half season” ticket plans come at two price levels, one with Houston and one without. The with Houston is more expensive. I guess it is nice we are in demand.
UH is a bonafide Power Team and is essentially a YUGE draw.
Lot of interest in that game as Texas State has a lot of fans in Houston and Houston has a lot of fans in this region as well as many expected to travel. Texas State wants to make this a rivalry as they remember beating us in 2012.
I like the Bobcats and their fans; should be a fun game/weekend. Wouldn’t mind scheduling them more in the future.

I really enjoyed San Marcos and the Bobcat fans a few years ago when Tech opened TXST’s expanded stadium. That stadium is really nice and they serve a great Frito-pie!
