Texas Stock Exchange?

This link sounds like a press release.

I’m skeptical of the less regulation, considering a Texas stock exchange would still be subject to all the same Federal regulations.

I’m also not sure that there is really a market need for this but that’s really outside my expertise. It certainly will be interesting to follow how it comes together.

From the prospectus:

“Incorporate today, list your company tomorrow. No appointment required for our Fast List Lane. Use code RUFKM to receive a free replica of the bell used to open and close trading sessions when you list your firm with us.”

No imagination here. It’s Texas, why ring a bell when you could fire a gun! Yeehaw!

No gun, but fire off a cannon.

Sounds legit. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

If they do they should not allow bs games like derivatives or shorts. Just a straight stock exchange. Oh and locate it in Houston.

I listened to the interview on a NPR syndicate, it is strategically going to be in Dallas, Texas and is not to avoid federal regulation, rather New York state regulation. It is largely backed by Blackrock, and is 100% happening.

All I need to hear. Blackrock and other PE, Dallas, escaping regulations, sketchy stock exchange. Might as well call it Mos Eisley

Any idea what New York state regulations they are trying to escape?

Getting thown in prison without probable cause? lmao (I couldn’t resist)

Not sure, NPR didn’t go into that much detail, its the dude’s show from LA, decent little show. He did seem very excited about it.

More money laundering… Texas style.

I’m ready to make some money, lets do it.

Found the building they’re going to use

One second thought, it’ll be more Texas to fire a pistol into the air to start and end trading sessions…

This is the first thought in my head these days basically whenever Texas does or suggests things

Probably should just be the new State motto
