The acceptance of the TUF by systems other than UT and eggy foreclosed on any realistic possibility of a state constitutional amendment mandating such as change. There’s just no groundswell of support for such an initiative. Besides, the current political leadership in Texas is perfectly fine having only two big publics being considered among the best from time to time.
We will forever go after the PUF until what is due to us is given to us.
You can bet on that.

If by “we” you mean “UH,” who says we are even going after it now, much less in the future?
