I think we are realistically one year away from being competitive with Tech. I will be there in blue hoping for a win, but honestly not expecting one. The prize this year is going to a bowl game. Losing to Tech will not ruin the season, not showing up and supporting the Coogs will be an embarrassment.

When are we going to know what time?
Once the TV schedule is decided upon…which is usually about 7-10 days before the game.

Fox and FS1 will have ALDS games that day, Matt Sarzyniak who has a blog specifically to predicting the NCAA football TV schedule is projecting ESPN at 6:00 PM.

If it’s a day game, I will be able to go to the game and wear a white (the other UH color) UH shirt. If it’s a night game, I will make sure it goes to a UH fan or alumnus.
But I will not buy, or wear, a blue UH shirt. And don’t say I need to buy one to help with sales. I have a ton of UH polos, T-shirts, button up shirts, sweaters, sweat shirts, hoodies, lightweight jackets, wind breakers, coats, and caps. I have several I haven’t even worn yet.

I would love for all UH fans to wear Houston blue to the game but I know that is too much to ask.
The atmosphere will be rocking and as a fan base we should support what the athletics department wants for the game day experience. I think we should be together as a collective base instead of us having or on individual interest take over.

Should be much better the only students in the garages and lots should be the ones attending the game, last I heard Houston traffic on Saturdays is pretty light, and with it being Saturday tailgating will be bigger so fan arrival time should be spread out more. Leaving the stadium garage will still be bad, but it has always been bad.

Yeah serious, I come in from Cypress and the last 2 games took 1 hour 10-15 minutes to get to and 40 minutes to get home from, usually on a Saturday I can do it in 45 minutes
It’s not as bad everywhere, but 59 through downtown is always terrible.
It’s certainly easier to get around, but I wouldn’t call it “light” unless the game is at 9 am.
