I know I’m preaching to the choir on this site, but good God is Ed Oliver fun to watch! I feel like what we’re seeing is a once in a lifetime experience as far as talent goes. So glad we have him for another year after this one.
Watching Wilson Whitley was something very special as well.
After the Arizona game Mr. Oliver said that he did not play very well. I wonder what the Rice OC thinks.
Big Ed has very rare balance for his size. Add strength & desire = a singular beast.
Is too early to put Ed Oliver in the same class as Wilson Whitley? Maybe, maybe not but they should be in the same conversation, in my humble opinion.

Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver made the All-America team as a freshman last season, and his first game of 2017 put him on the path to repeating that accomplishment as a sophomore. Oliver made 11 tackles, 1.5 behind the line, and forced a fumble as the Cougars limited Arizona to 152 yards rushing in a victory on Saturday.

Look at both graphics and the ratings for Jordan Wyatt… How does that happen that???
Wonder if they screwed up the SMU DE Lawler as he has a higher rating then both the national guys. Wonder if he was supposed to be an 80 and Wyatt was a 90.
