Outside of Tech, those teams didn’t beat the Coogs.

this is where im at. its like we forgot we just ran the gauntlet that is the Big12 regular season and tournament. we beat teams I consider much better than Gonzaga multiple times during our streak. and we’re playing our best ball of the season right now.

This may be a dumb question, but Arizona is in this tourney and has their own scouting to do. Why would Tommy Lloyd spend any valuable time trying to help out Mark Few, even if they are great friends?

By watching the game. There bench is used for specific purposes and to eat minutes. They also lack a secondary PG

its an advantage , not an end all be all…
and a defensive advantage… it clealry worked for 2 of the 3 teams you mentioned… vill only scored 50, duke only socred 54… the issue is we couldnt score
and for miami, the toughness is physicality and traping but omier (insanely strong) just bodied us, no offense to jarace but that was the weakest post defensive trap unit weve had under samspon… i noted this in the baylor game thread. that omier was throwing us around at miami… but that senior jwan/tugler/francis is a way tougher post defense than soph jwan/jarace/chaney (jarace playing almost 40)
stating our defense is extremely hard to adjust to at first sight (something coaches themselves admit) isnt counteed by posting 2 teams that scored 50 and 54 respectively…

and 2 of the 3 team he mentioned only scored 50 and 54 points despite us losing … they clearly had issue adjusting to with our defense… so explain the cope?

its customary for coaches to make time in some way to help other coaches they are close with in the tourney… sampson has spoke about this and he does the same for others and other do the same for him.
Both coaches are seasoned winners and I think it will be interesting to see the in-game adjustments both coaches make. Some strategy will work for both teams and the other team needs to react quickly. It will be interesting to see what Gonzaga has planned and how UH attacks it.

Next year, the team should wear white uniforms the whole season. To get used to playing in white the whole tournament. Flex.
