Why do so many posters on this site insist on putting words in people’s mouths? Is it a Boomer thing?
I mentioned those refs specifically because they have called games extremely tight against us in the past. I didn’t say they were “out to get us”.
You said " if they are even barely fair " which indicates imo you feel the calls will go againt the Coogs. Maybe they will call unwarranted fouls on Boilermakers. My apologies if that wasn’t what you tried to represent , but that’s how i interpreted.
edit: also amazing to me how much Boomer Esiason gets blamed here.

Duke will not be beaten by any of the teams you mentioned. If it does get beaten, it will be us else they are winning NC. They will put some spanking on Bama if bama advances.

Yeah possibly. I think we really played bad against them in Vegas IMO Auburn is simply better.
I think we are finding out now how good the SEC really is, but at the same time I think the Big 12 will show to be right behind them.
Hopefully Tech and Arizona show off this weekend too

Duke starts 3 freshmen. That pressure will eventually get to them at a critical moment. They will lose to a more experienced team. Just watch.

In March there are no freshmen. they have played a whole season of basketball including a league championship tourney.

Auburn not simply better… back in Fall, uzan had broken nose, was new, team didn’t practice together… uh is a much different team now… you will see…,

other than their relative youth they’re probably the team with the least amount of flaws and for teams like arizona and purdue half the battle is gonna be staying in the game long enough to have a chance to see their opponents crack in the clutch

They are still Freshmen. This is their first time in the Big dance. Each game will bring a new level of pressure

plus, they’ve probably never played this long of a season before.
It does wear down shooter’s legs.
Upper classmen are more used to the demands of the season + conference tourney + the Dance.
They mention this often when college players (all sports) move on to the pros because the professional season is even longer and more demanding so there is an adjustment period.
