Not a good excuse but a legitimate one that caused the struggles. Next time we will handle it better.
Box score looking tonight and Braden Smith plays 40 min in just about every game including all 80 in the first two rounds last weekend and all 80 in the Big 10 conference tournament.
Wanna see Sharp do his best Rob Gray impression in this game.
Negative…you over and underestimate way too much. Coogs ain’t winning against anyone at this point without their full stable of horses. This isn’t the first round or a Quad 2 team we’re facing here. Besides, Wilson is a role player and is only good at what he does. Solid in his role and what is expected of him, no more. And Arceneaux will only just try and do too much if asked to carry a bigger load anyway. All the same, he kinda fell off weeks ago, and save for the 1st round game, has remained in a slump.
So, with that said…
lol if we are talking who we want to have a big game… to me sharp can shine next year…
if anyone has a big game id love for milos or lj… LJ having a big game after his 30 pt game, and he becomes national news and he goes down in Houston legend status…and almost every hater of him has to revel in it …and he had so many this offseason…
or milos… i think at a draft stock of 40 or 20 he is likely gone… but if you are going to go might as well go as a high mid 1st round …
and not offensively, id love like a 6block 2stl game from tugler… wrap up that national dpoy award
Offensively speaking, that is.
We beat BYU and Arizona without Roberts. Just sayin
Yes. No man bun required…
This is the Dance, though…different stakes…different urgency…everything is different. Besides, Sharp means more at this point than Roberts, IMO. GUARD play is what wins in the NCAA Tournament. And you gotta have Sharp’s production, especially. All the same, they’re gonna need EVERYONE.
What if you play Sharp tomorrow and he re injures his ankle ?
Then you don’t have him when you need him the most.
Like I said before, we should rest him first half and use him at the end of the 2nd half if we need him.
the window for resting players like that closed thursday afternoon last week
Um no! Either he is ready to play or he isn’t.
He looked ready in the interview! Go Coogs!
Exactly, you can still burn clock without intentionally trapping yourself against the half court line. In fact, I would argue avoiding that unnecessary trap is a MUCH more effective way to burn more clock.
Uhhh that’s a Big No. Either he can play or he can’t. Coach doesn’t play w the scenario you just proposed.
Sharp will be Full go. Hasn’t even been a discussion this week. Non-story imo.
What’s the point of resting him? It’s the Sweet 16. This is it. Either he plays or he doesn’t, but we are past the point of half measures. The teams we are playing against will hit us with everything they got. We need all of our starters if they can play.
You act as if this is a double elimination tournament.
