Only one B12 team in the top ten, and that team is UH. UH should make the case that they should receive a larger portion of the B12 basketball media revenue because they are ratings gold.
There’s a reason Nuñez said he’d put mire toward basketball than most programs…
CKS has the Coogs ROARING loud! I bet if you flipped to page two for games 11-20, the UH v. Purdue game would be there.
In my 55+ years of UH basketball, I don’t think there was a better three game stretch of Coogs basketball…UH v. UF, UH v. Duke, and UH v. Purdue! Just typing this post, I need my blood pressure meds.
I can’t wait for the 2025-2026 season.
Go Coogs!
I liked the Tennessee beat down also no stress lol
I’d almost forgotten we beat Tennessee in the tournament
Gonzaga boatrace ending was also super fun.
Our trip to the championship game was about as tough as it gets, starting with the Zags, KenPom rankings of our opponents, 8, 15 (as a road team vs neutral), 5, 1.
avg 7.25
For comparisons the other 3 FF teams paths
Florida: 32, 10, 9, 4. 13.75
Auburn: 35, 21, 7, 3. 16.5
Duke: 30, 13, 6, 2. 12.75
We easily played the toughest round of 32 match. S16, while 3rd in NET, given the opponent and location it is toughest S16 matchup. Toughest E8 KenPom matchup, but it was a good matchup for us. toughest FF4 game.
NCAA committee set to vote today to expand regular season from 31 to 32 games in 2026-27. Maybe B12 goes back to 19 conference games or adds a tournament.
Or we add a solid to a really good non-conf home game…
Or another SWAC/Southland opponent lol
Probably the toughest path a 1 seed has ever had to make the final four.
would be interested to see what the duke - unc games bring in
2.99 million and 2.17 million this year. 1st and 3rd for ESPN televised regular season games.
The graphic includes CBS games as well as conference tourney games
that takes a real bite out of the everyone is wants to see the coogs mantra not having one listed in that regular season and conference tournament top ten.
Maybe but they did lump us onto that ESPN+ crap throughout the season as i recall.
