The reason why the defense changed during the ECU game

The difference I noticed was the lack of busted coverages.

Emery was a difference maker

Nunnery made some good plays that I remember, too.

Emery has really started to come on stronger each week since he was pressed into starting duty when Hogan went down.

Being on the field must be like playing Madden with the TV off.

Yeah, the only way this has anything to do with Belk going to the booth is if he was personally telling them to forget everything they learned in practice when he huddled up with the defense.

We were disguising blitzes. Had we even done that before the ECU game? Lol

Wait, I thought the poor play was due to all the injuries, no? This, according to Dana.

CDH complimented Emery during the presser.

Injuries put people on the field that otherwise probably wouldn’t have been there. These guys had a learning curve, just like the guys in front of them. Saturday’s game showed that they’ve made progress.

In his defense last year we didn’t need to. We all knew changes were needed after SMU, kudos to the stafff for making changes.

If the defense gives up 77 this week, will he return to the field?

If they give up 77 again he needs to be working on his resume.

Maybe the perspective is “how to stop getting run over”?

The BEST resume in the world won’t change that one.

But but who will hold CDH’s clipboard?

In yesterday’s interview he said they simplified some things because of the young guys that would be playing.

So
it was too complicated?

He didn’t elaborate.
