Speaking of a rb. I don’t know how good this rb is playing in 2a but he’s on pace to break Hall’s rushing record. He plays in the same classification as my hs Ganado. I don’t think he’d be working over Ganado if we meet up in the state championship as they’re region 1 and we are region 4.
@BoysOfFall I met Hussman’s daughter in the press box as she was helping with the announcements for band. She said she knows you. Were you at Ganado-Schulenburg last night?
Herbert does look a little small but a 10 or 15 pound gain of muscle and he’ll be just fine for UH.
Did you see my grandson WR block for him? Hebert is great, but can’t they throw a pass or 2 to my grandson? I mean, that’s what grandpa’s want isn’t it?

Good size at 6-2 and 205.
Forty time only listed at 4.8, a bit slow for a P4 back.
Had over 1400 yards last season.
Wasn’t posted on this year’s 2A cover team or among the state’s top running backs, but is obviously having a great year.
Given that he plays in what is currently the lowest UIL 11 man level in TX, it won’t be easy for him to get high level recruiting attention, but perhaps he could be a sleeper signee for some program.

11.18 is D1 college Linebacker fast. If he breaks his dad’s 10.8 time, we are on the right track, so to speak. That being said, elite vision and elite quickness go alot further than “track speed”
He looked fast going thru the holes in vidoes iven seen. Very decisive and when hole opens he is is very fast through and once he run trough a open hole turns on jets and many times untouched but when there attempted tackles will get physical
Good to hear from you. Unless its a playoff game I wont see the Horns live this year. I have a great nephew at Brenham and a God Son at Wooodlands Christian. WC is having a historic season and despite Jakoby Dixson transferring, Brenham is loaded. It looks like Ganado has reloaded. Young and fast. How many more Bures are in the pipeline?
At least 5. Only 1 Bures grandson has graduated from the 3 Bures boys kids.
Next year we’ll have a senior and 10th and 9th grade Bures. There are still 3 or 4 more in elementary to jh. Good times.
Woodlands Christian is doing really good. Ganado is off and I was thinking of driving out to see Brenham. They’ve got one heck of a team too.

FYI, David Hussmann played for Yeoman. Apparently, he once threw an interception on an option pitch back in the day.
