Some really funny responses on there.

“Tastes like dehydrated gravy.”

What the heck is this stuff?

Wikipedia: Vegemite is a dark brown Australian food paste made from leftover brewers’ yeast extract with various vegetable and spice additives developed by Cyril P. Callister in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1922.

It’s hard to describe but the Australians love it. When I was in Ireland, a lot of folks ate it there too. I hate it.

It basically tastes like salty garbage.

Sounds yummy!

Yeah, but does it go well with beer???

Sounds like you might need a good beer to choke it down.

Scratch it off your bucket list. It’s gross.

They have the same shite in UK.
It’s called Marmite.
Good guess the Aussies back engineered it after imports of Marmite ceased during WW I.
