Dear UH football fan. Are you feeling a bit sheepish in college football discussions? Do phrases like “4th and 20” or “3rd and Belk” or just “Coach” Dana Holgorsen leave you with a sense of embarrassment.
Well I am here to tell you that this Wednesday, the 20th of September the first ever showdown between two national powerhouse, nationally ranked, nationally respected Big 12 teams involving a UH squad takes place at BYU (currently #9 in the nation.) Coogs fan poster uhsigep96 essentially called this back in August, that UH volleyball would lead UH into the Big 12 collisions of upper tier tilts.
It is here and it is nationally televised on ESPN2 at 8 pm our time. The next match the team plays is at nationally ranked Kansas. Shortly after that nationally ranked and defending national champion UT Longhorns visit the Fertitta center.
I have no idea how well the team will do running this gauntlet of a schedule, but I am comfortable assuring you they are worth the watch.

I went to the game against USC and it was really fun. The team is a legit top 25, maybe Top 15

The sport seems to be exploding in popularity. BYU recently had a record crowd for a match. I anticipate an atmosphere to rival those our BBall teams will face in the Big 12

Yeah they set an attendance record of 1,903 against USC. I think when Texas comes into town they could bring in 3,000 and fill up half of Fertitta. National Champions and top 10 team coming to UH when we’re in the Big 12 should be a big game
