That 2015 team had a boat load of experience playing together and had built an identity.
I think it’s going to be hard to overcome inexperience in WR , RB and the secondary .
Like Loiseville in 2015, Arizona will be a key barometer.

I must confess that I wasn’t able to actually watch the Memphis game until the last few minutes. I remember checking the score at halftime and saw we were up 16-0 or something like that, then got scored on at will in the 2nd half.

And hope is all we have until we see what they are actually able to do on the field. I still don’t know if that unimaginative offense last year was more on CMA or Brian Johnson. AllI know is that history supports Briles being able to turn it around quickly by scheme alone and it sounds like CMA is willing to give Briles full control of the offense. That is very promising to me.

We better get that lined up sooner rather than later. If we start off 2018 by beating Arizona and Tech, good luck getting another legit P5 to schedule us. I would like it if we could keep the deal going with Tech. I really enjoy playing them and it’s been a pretty even matchup. I’m sure KK is enjoying the exposure he gets in Houston with recruiting. It’s a win-win.

I also travel in and I’m glad I’m not the only one who likes Thursday night games. It’s nice to go to the night game without the heat and do other stuff during the weekend.

Thursday nights seem like it is an NFL game.

I don’t watch the NFL, but hey already play Sunday and Monday, leave Thursday to the college games.
