Not sure if it’ll happen this year (he might still be able to make good money in the NFL), but I’ve talked about it for years and would love it.
Start as just a QB coach though?

Remember the 2012 TicketCity Bowl? After Sumlin left us to go to the Ags, Case essentially acted as the OC as well as the QB. We outplayed and outcoached Bill O’Brien’s Nittney Lions. Pounded them 30 -14. Just one of many examples that tells me Case is the one.

Case will be a great coach someday. It remains to be seen when and where. While it would be an UNBELIEVEABLE blessing to bring him home, he has done more than enough for his alma mater. I only want him here if it also serves his faith, family, and career to do so.

Someday the gunslinger will return. He will coach a new generation of gunslingers. And he will win.
I think that’s a tough move for Fritz without a strong previous relationship. The first sign of trouble people will be scorched Earth for Case to be coach.
Ok I stand corrected. Maybe he was the OC. The point was that Case directed a stellar performance against a much bigger quality opponent in Penn St.
I still remember (I believe it was the first play of the game) Penn St. got a penalty for “illegal touching.”
This was the Sandusky season.
Here’s another name, Gus Malzhan. He’s about to get fired by UCF.

I’d like to be able to see all of his games all over again. Maybe Klingler and Ware as well.
What ever happened to the run and shoot? I know Spoon is on Facebook. Can’t coach the ability to run like a wrecking ball.
All coaches are fired. Almost all. I don’t like bringing in alums and former coaches. It always ends badly. Then they have to deal with the stigma. I like Case where he is. Rooting from the bleachers and signing autographs.

Why discount what he could bring to the table? I witnessed every game ever played in at UH. He has a passion to win like few I’ve ever seen. He cares deeply for UH and could help take our program to the next level. If he would consider joining us in some capacity we should feel blessed.

He hasn’t coached college in any position . I’d grab Deriq King , Justin Johnson over Case.
