Problem with a schtick like Herman’s once he left Houston for UT in year 2 he was always going to be a coach that jumped at any opportunity, so its hard to get recruits to buy in, well that and he’s a d-bag.

I think his P4 chances have gone, as well as analyst positions. Probably land at a MAC/CUSA/WAC school, but since he failed at one, big time, he may not for a while. At least he has bank.
I met Marcus’ and Ed’s father at a game. Mr. Oliver was addiment that once Marcus was at UH, Ed “had” to follow. Sounded like Dad called the shots in the family’

I think an analyst position is still within his reach. They don’t get paid much, if I’m not mistaken.
And yes, I would assume he has $ to take a year or two off. Maybe he’ll start a podcast.
