Tom Herman was on Rome yesterday

Talked about what his plans are for FAU football, his time in the pros and more.

Someone please supply the audio or video (of Rome, Tom wasn’t on camera).

Did his eye twitch?

Love him or hate him, the players like the guy. He’ll do well at FAU. Where he goes thereafter, who knows.

If they still recognize him when they get out of concussion protocol.

I have no problem with CTH as long as he is anywhere but at U of H. Herman leaving for TU was possibly the biggest mistake of his career, had he stayed he would have been to football what Kelvin Sampson is to basketball. His loss. At least we got the indoor practice facility as a parting gift, which I doubt would have been built had he not come.
FAU will have him for two years unless he decides he like the beaches and fishing in Florida.

Until they realize, which will happen and has happened before, that he is full of BS

I don’t have a problem with him leaving for UT. I do have a problem in the manner with which he did it. Looking back, he probably should’ve stayed but did get a nice pay day out of it.

Aggy? Lol

Tom was not planning on staying very long and as a result did not recruit for the future when he was here. If he had stayed I don’t think he would have done as well as his first two years. Sampson was building something. Tom was more about what benefits us today and not 3 years from now.

Now with that said, I hold no grudge against him. He left us for a better opportunity. That happens all the time in all professions and I would not be against him coming back either.

“Didn’t recruit for future”
What does that mean? Its not like he was bringing in a bunch of jucos. Applewhite was left with a lot holes but thats because Herman took most our class to UT with him.

Whatever you say

You will believe what you want but he had already burned bridges with players and parents and the team was anything but harmony when he left. He wasn’t liked here once people started to actually realize what he was about and even less in Austin.

I go by what I see on the field. Our kids played like maniacs for Herman. And UT seemed to do so, too.
