Tramon Mark

Sure they can. But I just thought that this statement was odd:

As if, that is the only suitable option that was best for this particular player. To stay in this system and forget fulfilling your own plan or dream in your last season of college basketball.

I appreciate what Mark did while here, but he wanted to move on, and if he didn’t, more then likely Cryer doesn’t come here. I like Cryer’s offensive game better then Tramon’s (especially from 3).

I always liked Tramon. He’s talented and hope he goes on to have a good NBA career.

But if we ever play Arkansas and he’s playing, I hope we demolish them just like we did WVA.

I could be wrong but I think Cryer came here to replace Sasser’s role.

I agree and loved watching him here, being from Clear Lake, close to where he grew up. I had the pleasure of seeing him play and practice in those early years while watching my son play and “work” at the same gym. Tramon is a great player, and I wish he had stayed in Houston. However, he chose to go to Arkansas, and it appears to have been a bad choice. I feel sorry for him, as I think it ‘will get very lonely there’ compared to the team unity and friendship the players display in Houston.

Doubt Mark will play in the NBA.

Caleb Mills has worked his way to the end of the bench at Memphis.

Ummm he suffered a season ending surgery in his last game. You ok?

From what I heard Mark had too many people in his ear including family.
Lots of pressure on these kids especially if they have any chance to be in the league:
I just look at it that Mark is a good kid and was a really good Coog but opted out for a few extra bucks and a spotlight.
I think he is finding out the grass isn’t always greener…and sometimes you you crawl over the fence only to step in poop

There seems to be some discussion about Tramon’s defense not being up to par. That surprises me given that he has had 4 years of Kelvin in his ear.

Sideways moving up the power rankings. All’s well that ends well. Cryer was my favorite basketball transfer and maybe on par with Carlton.

We’re so much better with Cryer than we would have been with Mark. That’s not a knock on the kid, but adding Cryer has been a force multiplier - just a perfect fit.

Agreed! Thanks Mark!

I don’t see where it’s a bad choice for him though. It could still be fulfilling what he wants at this time. Because they may not be winning? Maybe he just wanted a change scenery, new scheme, playing time, all of those could be factors. Who knows. I do agree though that it worked out for both sides, because Damian Dunn is a good replacement.

Well said!

Dang! Didn’t know but just saw he only play 11 minutes in his last 2 game. Here’s the injury….looks like someone tossed a banana peel on the floor…brutal!

I agree Butch about the reasons T. Mark left! The hard thing about this is the longer a player stays at U of H the more he will develop! It is too hard for some kids to “TRUST THE PROCESS”. That’s why J.Francis is starting to come on!
