Playing devil’s advocate, the counter argument is that both coaching staffs are long gone from when Sorsby played, and you are essentially punishing a program where all the people currently there had nothing to do with the rules violation. Practically, the only punishment that should be handed down is to Sorsby.

NOPE- The administration and coaching staff either ignored the problem or tried to hide it. That is a lack of institutional control. That lack of institutional control is embedded within the institution. Letting them walk unpunished would be counterproductive if you are trying to control and eliminate the problem. And YES, EVERYBODY should suffer so people see that and say “Crap! we sure as heck don’t want that on us.” And no it probably isn’t fair, but it will sure as hell be effective.

Seeing as how Paxton is the biggest lying, crooked piece of **** in our state, it should come as no surprise. But what he did Made Yormark do things concerning the Tech situation where Tech basically surrendered and gave up. So it all worked out.
