I think Indiana should be making some plans and circling the wagons
For the integrity of the game, its important to go after the players and not the institutions
Not if the institutions are knowingly playing those playersâŠ
Cincy and TT should BOTH get an NCAA colonoscopy because of Sorsby.
so should Indiana
ABSOLUTELY should too.
Playing devilâs advocate, the counter argument is that both coaching staffs are long gone from when Sorsby played, and you are essentially punishing a program where all the people currently there had nothing to do with the rules violation. Practically, the only punishment that should be handed down is to Sorsby.
Are the same administrators there
The administrators that lost institutional control of their programâŠ
Thereâs no way this dude put in that many bets without people knowingâŠ
What was he doing⊠just placing the bets and then not watching the games and going nuts when he won/lost
Highly doubtful.
NOPE- The administration and coaching staff either ignored the problem or tried to hide it. That is a lack of institutional control. That lack of institutional control is embedded within the institution. Letting them walk unpunished would be counterproductive if you are trying to control and eliminate the problem. And YES, EVERYBODY should suffer so people see that and say âCrap! we sure as heck donât want that on us.â And no it probably isnât fair, but it will sure as hell be effective.
If indiana is not named into this inquiry we can all confirm the ncaa has every intention to stick it to the BIG12. CORRUPTION is alive and well with the ncaa.
âCorruptionâ and âNCAAâ are synonymous
Shady af
Not shady at all. Thats out in the open. Will voters care?
âOut in the openâ⊠after the fact. It wasnât disclosed when he intervened and in my opinion he shouldnât have intervened at all after that donation he should have recused himself.
Valid question.
Exactly, seems that he and I have different opinions on âshady afâ.
Was a play on words that didnât work. Itâs definitely shady but also brazen in that neither tried to hide the obvious bribe.
As long as it is clear before elections that he takes payments for how to do his job as opposed to what is the right thing. Though this really is not new.
Seeing as how Paxton is the biggest lying, crooked piece of **** in our state, it should come as no surprise. But what he did Made Yormark do things concerning the Tech situation where Tech basically surrendered and gave up. So it all worked out.
