I don’t hate it quite as much as you do, but yeah I can’t say I’m really digging it either. It’s a good concept but it’s looking like it’s going to be wasted.

The first 3 episodes of The Boys season 4 was released yesterday. I’m going to wait until they are all released before watching it. I might rewatch the first 3 seasons since I have CRS disease.

I don’t get it. They are alienating the core Star Wars fan, for what? Merch for the new characters don’t sell at all, because they aren’t the demographic that the classic Star Wars fans want.

Its funny how many thumbnails for videos saying the same I’ve seen. Universal hatred it seems. What makes the show so egregious?
They’ve made a farce of the force and the Jedi. Now there’s this new force that they call the thread of life. And the Jedi are now kidnappers and bad guys, that are easily defeated by a throwing knife! Terrible.

I mean the old core Star Wars fan has been alienated at least since the last trilogy. If they haven’t permanently left yet they probably aren’t going to.
Anyways it’s just all being so poorly executed. I don’t mind the introduction of outlaw force users but you have to make them pretty unique not just trainee jedi with real knives. Same with Jedi being so inflexible in the ways. It’s all ripe for exploration just not well done

Again why are we delivering this angle, this early? I’m cool with setting this up for a serious payoff further down but this serves very little purpose.

Saying something is bad and terrible just because it involves and centers characters and perspectives that were previously on the periphery or unknown kinda gives the game away. There’s a whole prequel trilogy that paints the Jedi and the Republic as arrogant, ineffective and incompetent and no one bats an eye because its said by two grandpas. Let a coven of women force users say the same thing and it’s all kinds of caterwauling. It’s too obvious.
