We are into Cal Irvine’s Achilles heel, their bullpen. They have been a good hitting team but pitching a problem especially middle relief.

COOGS WIN!!! 7-3. Sweep the series; 10 in a row

This team is on fire!

Okay. I can right again. Big sweep. Should wake up a lot of the polls for next week.

36 hits over the weekend.
How many teams have a Sunday starter who has pitched a complete game much less three just this deep into the season.
This team has tons of potential and is going to keep getting better.

Anyone want to take a shot at where we will be ranked next week? I’ll be frustrated if we aren’t at least in the 15-20 range.

After looking at this weekend’s results, I can only make a case for Oregon State, Tech, South Carolina, Clemson, TCU, and UNC being ahead of us. After that, we have just as good of a resume as anyone else.

Not sure about TCU, they lost two of three against UC Irvine. 11-2 and 6-3, won the third game 16-7

Holding UCI to 10 runs in 3 games is incredible. Whatever they end up being in 2017, they’ll be a good offensive team and the rotation shut them down.
