UCF AD says Big 12 is and will be aggressive in adding Pac 12 schools

This was one of the scenarios he pushed. There were others, since deleted that were not the same.

Guys, please step away from MHver and the bong. Its time to go home.

I’ll step away from MHver, but do I have to leave the bong?

Big 12 taking Arizona schools and Colorado strengthens them, weakens PAC 12
OUR dollars go up, theirs go down

Thanks for the clarification.

Klatt essentially saying its a death struggle.

If this were chess the B12 would be two pawns up and have the PAC defending the King on the back row with two rooks, and a bishop. He ain’t dead and he’s still got diagonal leverage. But calling for help from the knight ain’t gonna work at this point. He has to wait for the B12 to get careless.

By how much? Can adding Colorado really increase the payout to the other Big 12 schools? I think the best way to improve our revenue is to get Oregon and Washington. Then you get the other schools that kill the PAC. Then i think we will see a fairly lucrative TV deal. We don’t get that without Oregon or Washington

Nobody disagrees with this.

Two additional points:

  1. Oregon and Washington haven’t shown the interest in the Big 12 that the 4 corners have

  2. If you get the 4 corners, the PAC will not survive and chances are REALLY good that Oregon and Washington will flip (provided they don’t get a B1G invite). We have leverage.

This!

Oregon is probably going to nose dive after uncle Phil passes. Bad mascot and needed crazy unis to get cruts. Its not the end of the world not adding them

Can we call our trips to Colorado ‘Buzz Fest’ ?:sunglasses:

Also legal in Washington, Oregon, and Arizona!

After driving through southern Colorado I’d like to call it, “Rocky Mountain Poverty” but I guess that doesn’t apply to Col Springs.

Pez came here from Cal and obviously has all kinds of contacts within their athletic department and probably knows lots of people in the other PAC12 athletic departments. I just wonder how he is using those avenues to garner information and maybe also do some campaigning for the B12.

I know this might be an attraction to some fans, but not for me. I was just in NY with my 14 year old. The odor just about ruined our visit to Times Square. You couldn’t get away from it.
