Who honestly here, in their Wildest Dreams, thought we could salvage this recruiting cycle and do a complete 180- from a Complete Disaster to a very respectful ranking (considering where we were ranked ) via our attempt at landing a flurry of HS recruits + portal additions?
I was ready to concede that the new coach wouldn’t have much of a shot at HS recruits due to the late hiring.

Averaged over 13 yards per catch in a 1000+ receiving yard season.
Sounds like we can now safely forget about Matthew Golden!

Given CWF’s immediate impact in such a short time, it is clear that a big reason UH under-performed on the field in 2023 is we had an under-performing head coach. As a leader, you can’t concentrate on the tasks you like to do, you have to excel at the tasks you hate to do, like recruiting. CWF is proving that with energy, passion and effort, you can have success.
