The QB keeper would not have worked against the Longhorns d-line.
Anyone who watches film on the Horns defense knew that running up the middle would not work.

While I dislike the colors, I appreciate sticking it to the Adams Family.
Good publicity. Lots of press. My UM fan friend sends me an article about it and gives me a” Good stuff ”.
So it’s touching a lot of casual fans.
And Pez grew a pair. Good on him.
Pez does not do anything without K&F approval . He is just the frontman. However, this action does make him look bold and leader-like.
Go Coogs !
Can we steal the Oilers fight song too?
The San Diego Chargers fight song was better. “Houston Oilers No.1” was hokey. It does bring back fond memories, but that is about it.
I know I am playing with fire but it’s time the Houston Texans retire their fight song.
I’m thinking put a twist on Payne Stewart game plan and when at home, wear uni’s the color of the visiting team. This would add a lot of interest nationwide . . . . . Stir the pot . . . . .
The Texans have a fight song?
By Pezman saying “The stripes is the only thing they can hold us on” does this mean that they won’t have stripes? And won’t that significantly alter the look of the uniform?
Probably more accurately their theme song. “It’s football time in Houston” by Clay Walker. Been the theme since the franchise’s first year. Some people like it, myself included, but It is time for a change.
When and where do they play it?
They play it at every home game at NRG and “Inside the Game”, KTRK’s post game show at 10:30 PM on Sunday game days.
You must of heard it.
Agree, UH should be able to wear city colors. Big difference in wearing city colors and selling jerseys for revenue.
As long as UH is just wearing Blue uniforms it is no big deal, but get a marketing campaign with revenue dollars from the sales and the Adams grubby little paws come out and law suites fly.
