At halftime, Jonathan Vilma just said outright that Greg Ward is an outright better QB than Baker Mayfield, and that he expects UH to beat OU and contend for the playoff.

Yes, they did. Announcers were mentioning them during the game and Vilma had a love-fest at halftime.
