Insane that Lonestar is not apart of the program.
It’s a pilot program right now, and the community colleges are the ones that accept to participate probably. So as it matures more will join. And more majors/colleges will be accessible probably as well.
Then it doesn’t make sense.
If you can already get in with guaranteed admission with a 2.5 GPA from ANY school (including JUCO), then this proposal would presumably be meaningless and moot.
It makes sense ONLY IF the provisions you provided the link to are for four year transfers only.
But in the end, I have no idea.
I think it’s a good idea so these students don’t waste time and money taking the wrong courses that won’t transfer or get credit for.
