UH Tickets to Texas Bowl UH vs LSU?

The club will have the least amount of stairs. Escalators and elevators go to all levels, but the lower bowl could require a fair amount of stairs to get down to the seats and back up to leave.

Is there a limit to the number of seats we can request through Cougar Pride?

I didn’t see a limit but want to be sure we’re not just limited to our number of season tickets.

I’ve got a lot of interest from friends already, about double my season ticket allotment. :call_me_hand:

What is the students tickets allotment?

I am thinking 400 or 500. I clicked the link as soon as I got the email in my student email.

Now it is down to under 300. But it is also a Sunday night and kids don’t check their emails
ever.

That makes no sense to me. Wouldn’t the Texas Bowl to have as much of a college atmosphere as possible. This is valid for lsu too. With a stdium this big as a promoter I would try every avenue to get it filled. This makes no sense at all.
WTF? 400 or 500? WTF x 2.

The ticket allocations are determined before the matchup, and they probably assumed there weren’t going to be a ton of students traveling. Imagine ISU had been in the Texas Bowl instead of UH; do you think they would have needed more than 500 student tickets?

Yes, that is why the Texas Bowl should adjust on “The fly”

I am sure the business that is the Texas bowl cares more about maximizing profit than collegiate atmosphere. Allotments for students may go up if the current allotments are sold and other seats are not selling. Then there will be a ‘great news, we have a new allotment of student tickets’ email.

Is priority access for CP members sold out? I just tried getting tickets from the email that was sent earlier and keep getting a message that my order could not be added. I tried all three groups.

I just paid $792 for 6 tickets for my family. I think that is just a little on the pricey side. I purchased the $125 tickets option from cougar pride. I have a feeling they might be pricing a lot of people out.

You can find cheaper tickets on ticketmaster. 91 is the cheapest I could find.

Independence bowl tickets are way cheaper than Texas Bowl. So are Liberty Bowl tickets.

LSU fans are complaining about another trip to Houston and don’t seem too interested.

Some of them like it’s on a Saturday and indoors. Also Houston is the city with the largest amount of LSU alumni.

About half of their fans like the bowl and match up.

Down to 255 student tickets left

Don’t remember which game it was, but we went to a game at NRG. We had a “gold” parking pass. When we arrived, we were told that lot was closed (looked like tail gaters in the lot and TV, plus school band, I believe). Had a long walk on a damaged knee.

That was the Washington State game at NRG for me. They had me park in a lot that wasn’t mine because mine was closed.

Don’t buy from resellers. It costs UH money and the attendance numbers for resale tickets aren’t counted towards UH.

Plus, IF you’re Cougar Pride members, those points for purchasing season tickets and bowl game tickets, March Madness tickets, add up to your CP points total. I finally got to 107 points, I’ll take it. Maybe I won’t have to go through friends to get MM basketball tickets for next Spring

I do understand the dilemma about the UH allotment of tickets, especially the Final 4 BB tickets. which were not optimal by a long shot.
