UH Volleyball hosts Flo Hyman Tournament 9/18-19

UH volleyball lost today to UTSA 3-1 in the Coogs’ annual UH Flo Hyman tournament which it hosts in honor of arguably the greatest player in its history. They have now lost three matches in a row. Losing to #14 Purdue and #3 Kentucky in the Bahamas tournament is one thing but almost getting swept by UTSA is inexcusable. No BIG 12 program should lose to UTSA. Hopefully they snap out of it and beat Texas State later today.

Real close to calling it dead man walking as far as coach is concerned. Contract expires early next year.

Geez looks like dead last in the Big 12 and that’s ashame. Thought we would continue to get better when we joined Big

Coogs hold off Texas State Friday evening and win the match 3-2 to snap a 3 match losing streak. The team was extended to a fifth set after failing to close out the match in the fourth set. The squad faces Houston Christian Saturday in their last tournament match. The Coogs demolished the Huskies in straight sets just two weeks ago.

Coogs sweep Houston Christian to close out their finale of the tournament. The team now begins conference play this upcoming weekend at Kansas and Kansas State.

Again, begging anyone to ask for my tickets! Actual attendance has plummeted, including me. But the games are fun if you have never attended a live match.
