The 2006 game at Miami was the only game I missed that year, home or away. My daughter scheduled her wedding that day because of availability of Moody Methodist in Galveston for the wedding and San Luis Resort for the reception. If our former pastor had not moved to Galveston while she was in college, I may have been lucky enough to make that one too.
If you want to talk about loyal Coogs, you need to start with EatEmUp (Pat Moran) and then Don Shearer (AKA The Crazy Coog). Pat has gone to about every home game and most away games since 1946. I can’t remember a time when Don Shearer was not at a game. Of course there are many others like Murray Stinson and others I see but don’t know their names.
