UH vs. SMU was 6th biggest upset of the year

Biggest Moneyline Upsets of 2016:
South Alabama +3000 won 21-20 at Mississippi State (+28.5)
Eastern Washington +2750 won 45-42 at Washington State (+27.5)
Kentucky +1726 won 41-38 at Louisville (+28)
Iowa +1203 won 14-13 vs. Michigan (+21.5)
Albany +1125 won 22-16 at Buffalo (+21)
SMU +1102 won 38-16 vs. Houston (+22.5)

I hope we remember this game next year. Hope we destroy them.

And ours wasn’t a 1-6 point loss like the others but a 22 point loss. A greater than 40 point swing vs the spread goes down as one of our worst losses of all time. Tony’s first game vs TX State may be the worst.

That article was from 2012, but claims the Texas State loss was the only time in CFB history that a team favored by 34 points or more won by double digits.

But lets not forget that the SMU loss was following in the path of Kevin Sumlin. Herman put his team in the back seat while he was chasing after his “Dream Job”. And he had so little integrity that he was drawing a UH pay check while he was doing it.

I do believe that this was a clear example and the beginning that the UH head coaching job had become secondary. Back channels were going on by him & his agent to see how realistic was coach Strong going to be fired from UT. But more importantly, although tampering, he was having conversations with some of the LSU boosters.

My conclusion to this is the way Judas and his wife have acted and commented after they departed UH. They were just building their resumé in Houston. Looking for what they think is a bigger & better opportunity for Judas career.

Ed won’t let them forget. He will be the team leader next year.
