There is a section in the comments that focuses on playing us this year. There are some very good comments and nothing at all negative about playing us. There is even a hint of respect for how dangerous we can be. Considering this is the part of their fan base that would most likely trash us I find it encouraging and refreshing.

Noticed one comment where bleachergate is mentioned with altered reality…
Truth is, Reliant Stadium (nrg) wasn’t open in 2001. The horns wanted the game moved to the soon to be condemned astrodome.

UH - so insignificant to them, they had to rush the field after beating us in 1990. There may have been a goal post murdered along the way, also.

They still think this game is ending up at NRG. They still haven’t figured it out that they have no power and influence in the Big 12. The game is at TDECU. Period!!

UT and UH is a rivalry bc hatred is there. It’s a bigger game than UT playing tenn, miss st ole miss , s Carolina etc.

Wrestlemania was in the Astrodome that year. It still had some life left at the time.

Lots of them seem to think the game will be moved to NRG.
Rumors that there will be a season ticket package without the t.u. game make me worried there may be truth to this statement.

They have every right to head to NRG stadium. In fact we can put together a few card board cut outs of Mrs. Khator and Fertitta right by the entrances.
By the time madcowsu fans realize they have been had our TDECU gates will be closed.

It’s not changing so tell them it’s TDECU or they can watch from home. Remind them baylor’s stadium has 45k and they go there. It will be 44k standing room only.

Pez has said in recent interviews, 365 for example, that the UT game will be at TDECU. The first one that set off the rumors was since clarified. This game will be played at TDECU period

I’ll be the first to say this “rivalry” we have with UT is very one sided, on the UH side.
Most longhorn fans I know don’t even care for UH, and actually would like to play them regularly.
1990 was a LONG time ago. I wasn’t even born yet!!
Our university has come a long way, and I hope we make the most of our chances
