1 UTSA fan got kick out of section 106 few minutes after they scored a TD. Don’t understand why you can’t just enjoy the game and cheer for ur team at a ballgame. Especially when you’re sitting in enemy territory.

I totally agree. In our section (229) they had all kind of BS shouts. I guess UT in UTSA brings out the best of the cow manure. One piece of crap fan was hollering this game is ours with Frank at QB. You can’t beat Frank. So when the game was in victory formation for the COOGS I turned around and said Frank threw three interceptions tonight and his reply was F U. Class acts from crap hole S A.

Sounds like the guy in front row at UTSA last year behind our bench. He reminded me of this guy and behaved like a dirtbag.

Our group sits in Section 230. Lots of UTSA fans. We saw what it is probably going to be like the rest of the season. It’s not a bad thing to have visiting fans actually show up for a game.They were obnoxious, but they bought tickets, spent money, and helped our program.

They are loud. I’ll give them credit. They do pay attention to the game. But between utep and utsa give me utep. I always thought utep fans were nicer. I was in their stadium twice. Once with my kids. They treated us very well. This was back when you could sneak stuff into the game. There was a lady in el paso that gave my kids pepsi and lays potato chips from her giant purse cooler. Made me feel bad yelling for my team sitting right behind her.

It is called hyper fans which we are not familiar with. Let fans cheer their team, do not get offended because you want to sit quietly and watch the game. If you think this is bad you better not go to the real UT game.

UTEP fans are nice because they’ve had like two winning teams in 50 years….lol
Plus they live in El Paso……they are just happy to get away for a couple days.

We were at the game in San Antonio last year and were surrounded by UTSA fans and had great conversations the entire game and they were all super cool and even gracious after losing to us in 3OT. Yes, there will always be douchebags but we have those too. All schools do. It’s kind of what you make of it. There was 1 UTSA guy in our section last night and he was quiet the whole game.

They travelled well but think of all the River Walk hotel room beds that went unmade? Quite a price to pay.

Thought their fans were very nice last year in SA, even after the loss.
I am definitely not one who likes having opposing fans around me at our games but seems some of y’all are a bit sensitive.

We sit right behind the visitors area and had a great time. Their fans know football and were really into it but no problems when the game was over…
However it did make us think about how it was going to be when we host Evil empire lol
