Milos just declared for the NBA. Has until 5/28 to withdraw

So Pops came to replace Uzan instead of Cryer

Good luck Uzi!

Sounds like if I read the entire article it’s still up in the air… he can pull it back… possibly still just being evaluated and media is making something out of nothing

As of last week, he was starting to lean more towards coming back. If he sticks to a second round grade. Thinking he can play himself into the first round next year. If he gets a first round grade, it is over.

Agree :100: if he can find a way into the 1st round, but right now Milos is a 2nd round pick

All good either way… do I want Uzan back… of course.

Do we have 2 players on the roster that can hold down point… seems like it.

Plus, I feel like a lot of people don’t give Eman enough credit for his role in bringing the ball up and setting up the offense.

Whatever he chooses, we wish him the best. I’d love for him to come back but he needs to do what’s best for him. This is not shocking, honestly. He can still withdraw based off grades.

Big congrats to Milo Uzan.

Coach has always encouraged his players to talk to NBA and get graded/feedback… Grimes, Sasser, Shead all did it and came back to work on feedback and weaknesses

I look at this as a win-win for everyone.

If Milos is considered good enough to stay in the draft, and even sneak into the first round, it’s another 1st round draft pick that UH has developed. Good for Los, good for UH’s rep for developing NBA players.

We have players ready to step up. If he decides to return for a final year, I’m sure he will earn a nice NIL check, develop his game so NBA teams will look at him. He improves his game and that helps UH.

He is the most NBA ready of the guys on our team. It would be more advantageous financially for him to come back if he doesn’t get a first round grade.

Look how much Uzan improved from mid season on. I’m thinking he will be 24 years old soon and wants to see what happens.
I understand and if he leaves we will have to give young Fleming some time to develop.
Fleming is our future and yes it would be great for him to play behind Uzan one year.
But if that doesn’t happen our young point guard will be more than adequate to step up quickly if needed

Maybe Uzan wants a better evaluation from NBA scouts and what he needs to improve on if he is not a 1st round grade.

You can still withdraw your name from the draft and come back.

This is exactly what he’s doing

Yeah, this was always the plan, just like with previous guys who were borderline. I take it as good news if he’s thinking he can work himself into a higher slot.

In before the merge …

He scored less than 8 points in 4 out of 6 rounds in the tournament. They talked about his swag in Big 12 tournament and early in the NCAA tournament but late in the tournament that offensive swag had disappeared.

He’s not borderline to be drafted, though… just a question if he will be early 2nd or 1st…
