Uzan: Declares for the draft; withdraws. Milos is coming back

If he stays in the draft, we will have 1 open spot?

Its a loaded draft. Doubt he gets a 1st rd grade due to film.

I didn’t say he was.

Milos agent says ā€œIFā€ relating to him coming back. Uzan is leaning towards leaving. He isn’t getting younger and do not see his game changing much. I think he is gone.

I guess I misunderstood this statement…

You did. :slightly_smiling_face:

The rest of my post talked about moving up in the draft, not getting into it.

Uzan:

1.) he really didn’t show up in San Antonio for final 4.

2.) he was good 2 or 3 months, say Jan, Feb, part of march

3.) when full court pressed, he couldn’t dribble past defenders, picked up ball too early, panicked, etc…

4.) not consistent, some games great, some games MIA

He should really come back and work on game, deficiencies, and mature… he really isn’t ready for nba… just look at sasser, grimes, walker, shead… it ain’t easy in pros and again, Milo’s was only good 2-3 months…

I sure love the expert analysis that ā€œHe couldn’t dribble past defenders.ā€

It wouldn’t make sense for him to not test the waters as a JR. I am sure Sampson recommended it even if he was returning.

No critique of Milos. Did the NCAA tournament games hurt his draft stock?

I thought he was high 2nd round projected. Im checking some mock drafts to confirm

The workouts & combine, you can move up quite a bit. Quentin Grimes, i know was 2nd round projected after the 2021 season ended. Goes to the combine, kills it. Moves into the 1st round

No, Pop came to replace Cryer….Flemings coming to replace Uzan.

Givony saying Milos was a ā€œbreakout starā€. So, no doesn’t sound like the Tournament hurt his stock.

Power to him if signs with an NBA team, but Uzan needs a lot of development. He struggled under higher pressures and didn’t have the same impact during the tourney.

Giovny also had Bronny James top 10 at one point, too! Hes been bad for a bit.

He had 22 against Purdue. In an essential road game.

NBA scouts and execs just don’t base decisions on a small subset of games. They look at ability and potential. I think Uzan has NBA qualities that make him worth drafting. However, he has to weigh how he projects in this year’s draft versus next year’s. Money will be there but he needs to maximize his pro value.

why are people acting like you have to be a perfect product when you enter the NBA draft

if he enters the draft today he will be drafted in the 30s to 40 range…that is debatable territory …but not debatable if the teams like him enough that they are promising a guaranteed contract

but the draft isnt today…he balls out in the combine scrimmage he could go 1st… he plays terrible in the combine or measures bad… he could fall out …still a lot draft stock change that can happen

You should not try and critique anyone, much less UZan….

You’re the guy that has been telling us for the last two months how Uzan and Tugler had no chance of being drafted.

Just stop.

Why do you post here? You’re clearly not a U of H fan.

And 6 assists against Purdue and beat two All-American PGs… but nevermind that…
