Uzan: Declares for the draft; withdraws. Milos is coming back

I hope he gets a promise somewhere around 45-59 pick because he kinda wasn’t that impressive during the scrimmages. Worst thing that could happen is actually getting drafted late in the draft without a guaranteed contract because you may go to a situation where is an uphill battle. Whereas an undrafted prospect he can choose which team fits the best and gives him the best shot to make the 15 player roster.

This ain’t the NFL….you definitely want to be drafted….NBA teams take more stock in a player they pick in the 2nd round……undrafted is basically a summer league invite at best.

NFL there is an advantage in being a top undrafted free agent rather than a 7th rounder sometimes….but like I said, this ain’t the NFL.

next years team will have too much talent to not “figure it out” by the time it matters most and you’d think taking uzan from an underwhelming sophomore year to drafted in 1 year would bump our credibility when it comes to recruiting guards if nothing else so its only bad news if you solely look at maximizing the chances of getting over the hump lol

With or without UZAN, there will be quite a few get to k ow games especially in the front court.

I’m not trying to argue but you must of not heard of two way contracts and exhibit 10’s. If Milos can’t get either at the very minimum than why would he declared for the NBA draft.

I watched a lot of Gs last year, milos is ironically a really good fit with curry getting older

I saw curry and jimmy butler grabbing their backs out of pain this year lol

Y’all chill, he’s taking as much time as he can off from Camp Sampson. They’re getting worked out right now and he’s just chilling with the NBA he’s taking a vacation

Only 5 days till the deadline.

Can we survive the tension?

I plan on drinking more wine.

I’d love for him to come back. We’ve discussed countless times how deep/talented the roster would be. I think he’s going to bet on himself (like Shead did) and keep his name in the draft.

In the right fit, he would thrive. We’ll be fine.

We will know soon.

Can’t wait.

If someone started a wine discussion group in the “Satellite” i’d join in.

Yep unfortunately I’m leaning toward the he isn’t coming back camp now after hearing his interview but still hoping he returns

Where did I mention my feelings? It’s cool to not understand life the same way as others. Focus on your finger prints.

By the way here is an article that back ups what I understand as well.

It’s your feeling that Uzan isn’t coming back, even though he’s saying the exact same things now that he was three weeks ago. None of the underlying facts have changed except that he underperformed in the combine scrimmages, so yeah, you’re mentioning your feelings. Focus on that or whatever.

Milos Uzan actions are saying he is leaning towards leaving. His words of confirmation about his abilities is leaning towards leaving. His 6 NBA private workouts are leaning towards leaving. Uzan not attending Houston post season awards ceremony says he is leaning more in leaving. If you still think he is coming back fine. I don’t. If he does come back I just mentioned mentally it’s hard to do college when you feel your NBA ready like Milos.

Only way he leaves is if he feels he’ll get drafted with a guaranteed.

Minds do change. If he is doing well against other draftees in private workouts. I do not see why he can’t get a guaranteed contract.

Right. He’s not going to leave the financial security of his college NIL deal to take a flyer on the NBA unless he decides that his stock could be lower next year.

He’s going through the process he said he would pursue, but because he hasn’t quit early, some people want to assume that means he would make a financially-dumb decision.
