Very Refreshing

If Coach Frost really said this, how refreshing. I don’t believe that last guy we had felt this way…

Scott Frost: Frost recently told the Orlando Sentinel that he wouldn’t take the Oregon job even if Phil Knight came to table and offered $8 million a year, adding; “When you recruit kids to come play for you and you agree to do something for a program; when you give your word to people, I think it’s your responsibility to see those things through.” Frost adds that “a lot of coaches are in a hurry to take the next step.”

He’s a good coach.

We should try and poach him.

I like Frost. When watching the UH/UCF game, I was wondering to myself what Houston could do to make him an offer if Herman left. His halftime interview during that game was measured and he’s been a good first time head coach. Young, smart, good offensive mind, etc.

I think the end game for Frost is to see how well Nebraska does over the next couple years under Mike Riley.

The cynical side of me is thinking: Oregon told him he is no longer in the running…

It is easy to say and makes a great sound bite when you get turned down as a candidate and you are not having to actually consider 8 million a year. But I like his statement.

LTH never said anything close to that. Just a lot of clichés.

L…TH?

Liar … Tom herman

Lol at all of you buying into that proper coach-speak. He just gave UO a giant heads up to make him an offer.

I don’t think he was ever in the running in the first place, being that he’s a 1st-year coach that just went 6-6

Living in Portland, I can tell you that there are a lot of alums I know that wouldn’t mind having him back.

Didn’t directly answer the question. I don’t think he’s any different than most other similarly aged hotshots.

Lol. #liartomherman
