His shooting is not very good.
Wasting way too many minutes at his position game after game. Give someone else a shot.

CKS has already said several times that Walker was supposed to be redshirting this season. The only reason he is playing is due to us being short on guards.

I understand what the OP is trying to say and agree. he misses a TON of shots that could be major game changers for us.
but hes young and shouldnt be playing so he’ll only get better.

For being so young his total game is really good. He is not careless with the ball, seems to always be in the right spot for a charge.
The one thing I’ve seen with Walker is he knows how to close out the drive. We’ve missed that in years past. In fact we’ve been a fairly middlin’ offensive team inside 3-5 feet.
He has excellent balance and keeps his eyes on the rim.
11 pts 4 rbs is not a bad night for a freshman.

When we needed him most, he has stepped up. 13 at Twmple. With no Kyler Edwards.

He’s also very aggressive down low. For a freshman he sure likes contact…and doesn’t care who its with.

Plays his heart out. 100% hustle on D, starting to pick up the O, rebounds to the best of his limited jumping ability, dives for loose balls, not a TO machine (for a freshman). Kids a Sampson guy - his shot will come. Saw him hit 5 /6 pregame a couple of weeks ago.
