Yes but water taxis take you place to place, I’m just not seeing where you would want to go to get place to place on Buffalo Bayou. Absolutely worth taking a trip down, Buffalo Bayou Partnership does offer boat tours which I have taken.

I took one of those canoe excursions down buffalo bayou. It sucked, it was basically a sewer.

I’ve been to many of the wastewater plants that feed Houston bayous.
Never, ever get in that water.
I’ve seen things.

Imagine all the shopping carts, automobiles and weighted bodies under the surface. Hard pass, as my daughter would say.
And when I say “feed” I’m talking about organic material of course, not the clean water they’re only supposed to discharge.
Maybe when Houston floods

The thing I vividly remember besides the sewer smell was the oil sheen from all the cars dripping oil on the streets and getting washed after it rains. Or maybe illegal dumping of the used oil.
