We Are Regressing

For us who said we want to see weekly progress in getting better. Obviously we’re not. Not good.

Were you expecting to g us to be good?

Yes.

I just don’t understand how the offense hasn’t improved after playing 4 games. Mix in all the practices and it makes no sense.

I don’t agree, Iowa State is the number 18 team in the country.

We were able to keep penalties under control, defense was better than at Cincy.

If our QB was 20% better we would be in the game late

probably in the middle… the defense is gettng better, the offense is getting worse

Haven’t you read the board? We have 63 new players. We shouldn’t see any progress with that many new players. Except our D has improved and looked damn good in a lot of games. Hmm. Wait what about the offense? I guess all the new players went to the d side.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching our defense until they got tired.

This was a one-fault loss. And the fault is on the OC.

Exactly! Meanwhile JMU new QB, new head coach, 24+ new players with G5 talent steamrolled UNC in Chappel Hill last week.

So tired of the false narrative thats been regurgitated. Watch how many of our players jump ship and get P4 offers. Plenty!

Are we even running plays?

Where are the receivers in motion?

Where are the creative linemen blocking schemes?

Where are the creative formations?

It’s backyard football. Just run around and get open and I’ll throw it to you.

Yep and the problem now is “progress” is scoring one touchdown a day. Part of me is glad we got shut out again. Show the horribleness to invoke major change.

I have no words for how feeble our offense is… I never expect this level. I figure we would struggle to say 14-17 pts… but this??? This is Helton/Dimel level.

I don’t know for sure but we had at least 8 penalties+ that were costly. Just stupid crap. Offensive holding. blocking in the back, used to be called clipping blocking below the knees. Coogs did beat Coogs tonight.

Here’s a TRUE narrative that I have to keep repeating.

Every new coach is allowed ONE…FREEBIE….SUCKY SEASON.

Sampson got his.

Fritz is getting his.

Indeed and he appears to be using it to maximum ball sucking effect.

I mean this is what he inherited. Did he mess up by not going after a QB during the portal? Yeah. That’s on him, no defending him there. But every coach will get his freebie season. Now next season is a different story.

The only time we kept penalties “under control” was during halftime.

for the game, 7 penalties for 77 yards.

Well we did lose golden to UT and Sam brown gone. Today manjack is out.

The qbs are great passers but the wr position is lacking vs last yr and can make a huge difference
