From what I recall, there was a lot of debbie downers when CDH red shirted everyone. It was about the same as now. A bunch of coogfans heavily criticizing the move/him and a buncha fans backing the move/him. I guess well see what the future holds for Fritz.
This season is, sadly, over. The coaches number one job now is to get this team on track and give the fan base some hope. That’s all we want is some hope…. hope that things will improve. If this coach can turn this thing around he might deserve a special place in Cougar lore.
The season was over before it ever started, new coach, new players, rebuilding, we were a lucky 4-8 last year, hate to tell you but next season is over already again, max 4-5 wins next season but season 3 should be better
The data you provided is correct. The question is why he never got a P4 job before we came calling. What did all of the P4 schools hiring coaches see that you don’t.
Dang. He was a good commit.
You got punk’d too
3 of our 4 losses have come to undefeated teams.
Doesn’t make me feel any better but it does put things in somewhat less than abysmal perspective.
Dammit
? Did you mean to say undefeated? Cincy and OU have losses.
Yes, I missed the OU loss to Tennessee, still highly ranked though. Iowa State and UNLV are undefeated.
Thanks for the correction.
I mean thats a bad example since only 4 to 5 games have been played!!!
You may have been wrong about the records but you’re right about the difficulty of the schedule. Sagarin rates our schedule so far at #3 in the country. At the same time the schedules not going to get much easier anytime soon so we need to figure out how to compete against this level of competition.
I was going post that we had gone up against some stout Ds in Cincy and ISU but looking at the schedule it doesn’t get easier. Maybe the matchups work out better with future opponents
