We could come up with a million excuses as to why it seems nobody in Houston cares about UH football right now. Bottom line is that nobody including us diehard fans really expected us to be 10-1. It’s still shocking and hard to digest.

With that said… Utah is up 28-0 at the half against #3 Oregon. Cincinnati may actually have a chance to be ranked in the top 4 because there’s absolutely no way Oregon only jumps down one spot. Houston has a chance to play the an actual playoff contender in the conference championship game.

Although Cincy beat Notre Dame, how much do you want to bet ND won’t jump Cincy in the CFP standings after beating GT?

Alabama can lose a second game and make it in, but I don’t think Michigan can.

More likely that Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, or ND pass Cincy.

This won’t be the final poll. Ohio St and Bitchigan play next week. Loser will not see the playoffs. UC will lose to us, so hello ND. I can’t wait to see them get their hat handed to them by whomever they play.
