NO! Because they are anal about who is allowed to use THAT elevator. We need escalators. Maybe you can trek up to 300 sometime and check it out. My first year of season tix were up there, moved down after year 1.

That’s what I’ve been telling yall it’s a hike up to the 300’s just once , but to have to do it multiple times a game? At a minimum finish out the upper concourse s with restrooms and concessions that would help and skip the escalator i guess
You didn’t have to tell me Bandera. I experienced it, for one year. Between that 300-level hike, lack of services and amenities up there, and Dana Holgorsen hanging on like a bad headache, I feel we lost 3000-5000 season ticket holders over the years for different reasons (excuses).
A good friend, who worked for HPD, couldn’t take any more of Holgorsen and finally left when they didn’t fire him after the 2021 or 2022 season, instead giving him an extension until 2027!!. He very much disliked the guy. I’m still there however, for every year except the COVID year (2020). Sec #103
There was a young family in my 300 section for the Arizona game. Didn’t recognize them so probably a one off, but I saw the mom go up and down the stairs no less than a dozen times. Luckily, she looked like she worked out about 12 hours/day, and she was smiling the whole time, but I can see how that would be enough for most people to say never again.
As a relatively young person I have a great time in the 300s. Fantastic views, great deal.
300 concessions and adding restrooms to the back of QPP would go a long way if the escalators and restrooms on home and visitor sides are not feasible. At least would cut down on trips down and up.
If you are a season ticket holder and do that for 6 games a year, you should be commended sir.

I think by the year 2030, UH needs to make a final decision to expand or not expand so we can continue to work on adding a shade, more elevators, some escalators, more patios, suites, etc.
16 years since the opening in 2014 should provide enough data about our fan base and attendance.

The question is how do we increase attendance? We could increase ticket prices after having a couple of losing seasons. Have the highest concession prices in the city, Make the area around the stadium a dead area for excitement by moving all the alumni tailgates a quarter of a mile away from the stadium and behind the FC. Have all our home games on Thursday or Friday nights or Saturday mornings. Finally, we can surround our stadium with prison like fencing around the entrances. And finally, we can wear uniforms in colors that have nothing to do with our school and lose those games by 20+ points.

I am starting to think the common denominator is Khator. We have gone through multiple ADs yet services get worse and prices go up. Now we find out the $50 parking falls under the campus transportation department which ultimatley falls under her. She doesnt have to worry becasue she gets shuttled around in a fancy golf cart. I am starting to get the feeling the demad for sucking as much revenue out of the current fans instead of lowering prices and increasing fans is something she is ok with. I have never liked that our AD is called a Vice President. Khator has been great for the emergence of UH, but she does not have a sports background. It might be time that she needs to relinquish more control to those more qualified in sports marketing, sports pricing, and most of all the AD.
