Vegas odds basically saying it’s a toss up. Crowd needs to be in it to help!
Sold out ?!?
After talking to some of the players at the fan day (about the weather mostly), I see us winning by 3 TDs lets call it 45-23, they caught us looking passed them last year, this year we will be ready and they won’t get the benefit of the crazy echoes of the Alamodome, my ears still hurt. If it looks anything like the game we played last year or worse its going to be a long season.
On a side note I talked to some of the O-line at fan day and they seemed extremely confident and happy about the change in leadership, like did not like Jones happy, but that is just what I sensed.
The spread currently has us as the underdog.
We win by at least 10.
Doubtful since it will be on FS1. You can probably watch on Fox Sports app if you have a TV provider with FS1
Coogs 38-13
43-32 Coogs
If UTSA puts more than 20 on us we have not improved at all.
Draft Kings has it as a pick 'em at least as of the time of this post.
Coogs Win… 35-0.
Belk gets his mojo back!
I saw it at:
It is tight so it is going to move and since we get 3 point for homefield they are saying UTSA is better than we are. Last year it opened at Coogs -6.5 and closed at -3.5 so they are definitely favoring UTSA here.
Action network currently has UTSA at +2, so UH is the favorite according to that one. MatchupOpenSpreadTotalMoneyline
UTSA
11-3
+2 -0.5-107 o61.5-107 -110
Houston
8-5
u65 +0.5-112 u61.5-112 -110
We did to open TDECU
UTSA - 38
UH - 30
That’s the open, spread is currently UTSA -.5, but again -.5 and pick’em are virtually the same thing and once you factor in 3 points for home field and the line movement they are favoring UTSA.
I’m easy. Any day I get out of bed is a win.
Watched the replay of the USTA game last night.
Our offensive play calling could not have been more bland in the first half.
Forgot we got down 21-7.
Bu all first half we ran on first and second down setting up third and short. They put a lot of pressure on Tune. Got to him a couple times. Once we got the screens going that helped.
I rewatched the UTSA bowl game and Troy did a really good job defending UTSA. Our d was bad last year but I think the defense, specially the dbs will play better. The offense will depend on qb play. So many questions marks this season but I think UH can pull it off on the first game
I think we come out and surprise a lot of folks. Throw deep for a TD early in the first drive and it’s never close after that.
UH 42
UTSA 24
