Our Achilles Heel

Oops Baylor will be great then. If they had lost by 1 point then they wouldn’t have been great.

I mean, so far it looks that way. Can’t be this poor out of conference

@UHCoog with Arizona, sure.

They’re (2-2), thru 4 games, they haven’t shot 40% from 3pt in any of their games :eyes:

So far they’re (26 of 96) from 3pt. 27%

They’re typically a high potent offense. But this year they may not have the outside shooting to be a top 10 team

Arizona has to get more out of Trey Townsend & Carter Bryant. We shall see.

Context: from 3pt this season

*Houston: (39 of 80) 48%
*Kansas: (36 of 105) 34%
*Iowa State: (22 of 71) 31%
*Baylor: (60 of 160) 37.5%
*BYU: (46 of 127) 36.2%
*Cincinnati: (40 of 89) 45%
*Texas Tech: (58 of 146) 39.7%

All the tickets by us are season ticket holders. They are about 60-70% full for weekday games. It is a pain in the ass to get to the stadium. I live at shepherd and 10, 12 min from campus, it takes 35-45 minutes on week nights. Friends came from Spring last night took more than an hour.

For Big12 games people will be there, for 40 point blow out matches some people don’t wanna make that drive.

1000 percent agree just isn’t worth it during the week!!!

I’m 3 miles from campus, and to get from my door to the door of Fertitta Center is more than thirty minutes.

The more painful part of getting to a midweek game is the commute from work to home, which is 45 minutes minimum. I don’t have an excessive commute, it’s 15 miles (work off the West Belt).

Stopping at home to get the boy takes a minimum of 15 minutes (kiss the wife, pet the dogs, take a leak, yell at the boy for ten minutes to hurry the F up).

All told, I’ve got to cut out of work by 5 pm to make a 7 pm game, and that’s rushing the whole way.

Understandable that some don’t make that commitment for a 40 pt non-conference blowout.

our FT shooting IS good. Five of our top six players are shooting over 80% from the line.

I was not referring to attendance

It’s a very long season.

Kennesaw St giving the two top 10 frosh at #24 Rutgers a beatdown so far: up 44-26 at the half.

Old man river D. Dunn and his new (unbeaten) squad take on unbeaten #19 Wisky in a couple hours. Should be a fun one. Both 6-0.

Maryland beats Villanova. Maryland now 5-1.

The Yin / Yan of shooting a basketball.
Nevada shooting like 90% in 2nd half.
Ok State tried everything.

Good sized Nevada team.
Ok State w rough BIg 12 coming but the
sets, etc much better.

LSU cant make a chippy over & over.
Getting whipped by UCF.
On the “eye test” should be LSU by 20.

KSU - Liberty at 7 ctl
In V Islands.
KSU needs to blow them out.

Derik Queen looked quite good for the Terps. Nova struggling this year. Many more Terp fans in NJ than Wildcats.

End of FAU v Seton Hall.
FAU ball handlers could not have played that worse.
FAU coach nearly fainted.
A Memphis like end of game horrible.
(Leaving out SMU PG portal season there. He was clutch)

LSU came back in OT v UCF ?
Might need a late game stream.
