This UCF team is getting ready to pull the upset
Pretty close to what I expected so far for UCF-BYU. The Knights are tough. They’re juiced.
Can they sustain it for 4 quarters against an elite team?

they always rise up for a few big games a year, including every time we play them…
edit - I like Scott Frost and forget he’s coaching there - are we cheering for an upset or do we need / want BYU to keep winning?

Idk man, they may get gassed in the 2nd half but this result doesn’t shock me at all. Tried to tell BYU fans this would be a game.
I love our BYU folks on this board and really love BYU as a program overall, while I typically don’t like UCF at all, lol.
Having said that, what helps UH more? A BYU win or a UCF win? If BYU loses, and UH wins tonight, you have:

UCF plays hard for two/three Q, then crater.
Not getting my hopes up for a Knights win, but stranger things have been known to happen.
Traveling across the country after a big game.
BYU is built on size so UCF with Scott Frost is a tough match too.
But in the 4th quarter I’d hope BYU is wearing them down. It’s not showing that way at all so far though.

The weather being bad makes it even screwier. Gonna be an interesting finish. You guys should be able to wear them down (they’re super thin defensively) but as we saw with Tech earlier, crazy things happen on the road.
