I feel like UH is easy to root for. I’ve converted many non-coogs that I’ve worked with / met over the years that now always shoot me texts about UH after a big game.
love it

I live in Texas and never felt it for Texas or The Aggies. I agree Houston is likable and easy to root for.
Everywhere I go I see BYU fans around Houston. It’s crazy.
Feelings mutual, at least on my part. Loved to see the irish takedown. Thank you.
That’s how I feel about BYU folks - all super friendly, all the time and an easy to like program.
Also as I always say, a game at LaVell Edwards is #1 on my CFB stadium bucket list
Tonight we talk with Trent “Sauce” Walker, talk about Duarte’s AP ballot, wrap up the Oklahoma State win, look ahead to Utah and College Gameday.
Shows Coogs +6.5. Trying to guess which way it might slide.
No, we’re going to do a Red Out instead.
Is Cosmo a student or hired from outside of the school? The dude flew out of a plane to hand the football to McAfee and did a back flip with flaming weights. Some of the stunts that he pulls makes me think that he was a circus performer in his previous gig.
That’s where the skepticism around their stats popup. Yes, it’s a new coach that might be hot but your opponents having a record under 500 brings some questions.
I’m sure Utah has a good squad, but we’re going to be their first big test of the year.
I’m waiting for WR Stephon Johnson to introduce himself to the 2026 fans. Wouldn’t it be nice for Johnson to have a breakout game against Utah?
I WILL be there.
Will we wear the white jerseys with the blue trim that we wanted to wear vs UCF?
Since the Utes are red that might be a good look!
You know ball. #GoW
Wished you all devoted some time to Utah.
“Under .500” really understates how bad their schedule has been. Their opponents are a combined 2-9 against other P4 schools, by my count. There’s a solid case to be made that five out of the seven opponents we’ve played would have been the best team on their schedule so far this year.
Mind you, none of this is to say that they’re not REALLY good. It may wind up being true that they’re head-and-shoulders above the rest of the conference aside from BYU. But I’d certainly say they’re untested.
Couple that with a depleted defense and it could be problematic. Would be nice to get a couple of the starters back.
I mean that’s actually how FPI has it. ISU has been their highest rated opponent at #54. That’s behind Tech, Okst, KState, Oregon St, and UCF. Granted I still think that was a good win since it was in Ames but i do think it’s fair to say they haven’t faced anyone as good as us.
